Professional Search Group OC is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join their clients team! The Sr. Accountant will play a pivotal role in this established accounting team, and eventually moving their way up into a management role.

Sr. Accountant Primary Responsibilities:

• Reviewing invoice coding for accuracy.
• Generating journal entries.
• Managing accruals and prepaids.
• Conducting account analysis.
• Maintaining the general ledger.
• Overseeing month-end closings.
• Reconciling bank accounts.
• Handling fixed asset accounting.
• Supervising inventory and cost accounting.
• Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.

Sr. Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a prerequisite.
• A minimum of ten to fifteen years of relevant experience is expected.
• Prior experience in accounting within a manufacturing company is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exposure to both private and public accounting environments is desirable, though not obligatory.
• Familiarity with Great Plains software is highly beneficial but not mandatory.
• Effective communication skills are essential.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Engaging in advanced accounting, financial, analytical, tax, and systems-related tasks as necessary.
